The coastal settlement Stayromenos is an extensive archaeological site.  Apart from the archaeological sites in the crucified deserve to visit the Australian Memorial and Greek warriors who fell in battle against the Germans.  Apart from the Minoan settlements that have come to light in the hills of Chamalevri particular interest in the disclosure of craft production plant essential oils in the same area. Cemeteries of Classical, Hellenistic and Roman periods and impressive Roman baths complex, are only some of the findings of the historical years mainly in the coastal zone Sfakaki-Stavromenos.
